June 2025 Product Updates

Dear Cerebrum Community,

I'm thrilled to share our June product updates with you. This month has been particularly exciting as we've made significant strides across our entire product suite, from enhancing our identity verification capabilities to launching powerful new automation features. Our team's dedication to innovation continues to drive us forward as we help organizations build trusted teams faster than ever before.

šŸš€ Major Product Enhancements

vID Platform Updates

Our flagship identity verification solution received substantial improvements this month:

  • Enhanced ID Scanning Technology: We've implemented advanced frame capture algorithms that significantly reduce blur issues and improve scanning accuracy. Our new approach minimizes processing delays by optimizing the communication between JavaScript and native threads.
  • International ID Support: We now capture and store nationality and place of birth information for international IDs, with intelligent SSN data collection that automatically skips this requirement for non-US documents.
  • International ID Model Integration: We're excited to announce that scanning for more than 3,000 international ID types is now supported, bringing enterprise-grade document verification capabilities to our platform. This integration is currently in final QA stages before full release.
  • Smart User Experience: The platform now automatically detects returning users after QR code scanning and redirects them appropriately, ensuring a seamless experience for those who may have interrupted their verification process.
  • Session Analytics: We've integrated advanced session replay capabilities to better understand user behavior and continuously improve the verification journey.

vID Web Enhancements

  • iFrame Support: Major improvements for embedding vID in partner applications, including new CSP header support and a quick-invite endpoint for seamless integrations.
  • Remote Capture: Implemented URL shortening for remote image capture, making it easier for users to complete verification on any device.
  • Data Validation: Added intelligent date restrictions to prevent accidental entry of impossible dates, improving data quality.

Cortex Management Platform

Our administration platform saw significant upgrades:

  • Advanced Analytics: New graphical analytics provide deeper insights into verification patterns and success rates.
  • Flexible Configuration: Package administrators can now toggle specific features like alias collection and additional address requirements based on their unique needs.
  • Notification System: A comprehensive notification framework allows for better communication and workflow management.

Synapse Automation Engine

This month marked a major milestone for our Synapse platform:

  • Scale Achievement: We're now configured to process up to 200,000 orders annually through our automated case formation system.
  • Daily Reporting: Automated daily processing reports provide complete transparency into system performance.
  • AI-Powered Naming Logic: We've developed an innovative AI council approach using multiple LLMs for natural language processing in naming logic - a game-changer for accuracy and flexibility.

šŸ“Š Performance & Scale

June has been our highest volume month to date, with several key achievements:

  • Successfully processed over 180 orders daily through our automated systems
  • Achieved 93% test coverage in our Synapse Case Formation repository
  • Deployed multiple new automation packages expected to generate significant annual volume

šŸ”§ Infrastructure & Developer Experience

  • VPN Proxy Support: Our VPN now supports proxying traffic through AWS instances for enhanced security and flexibility.
  • Workspace Storage: Added workspace-level S3 object storage in Mycelium for better data management.
  • API Enhancements: New API key scoping allows for granular control over specific routes, improving security and partner integration capabilities.
  • Shared Components: We've moved key form components to our Cerebellum shared library, accelerating development across all our products.

šŸŽÆ Looking Ahead

As we move into Q3, our focus areas include:

  • Communication: Enhancing how our systems communicate status and results
  • Value Focus: Ensuring every feature delivers measurable value to our customers
  • Scale: Continuing to build infrastructure that can handle exponential growth

šŸ™ Thank You

June's achievements wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our entire team and the valuable feedback from our customers. Special recognition goes to our newest team member who joined us this month and has already made significant contributions.

We're excited about what's ahead and remain committed to our mission of helping organizations build trusted teams in minutes, not days.
